WHO WE ARE
A Focused Strategy in a Critical Sector
Grizzly Resource Management is building a Multi-Disciplinary Canadian platform of specialized Archaeology, Environmental and Forestry Consulting services firms. Grizzly Resource Management Inc. supports responsible development, regulatory compliance, and long-term resource stewardship.
We focus on high-quality firms with strong technical reputations, durable client relationships, and clear strategic relevance within Archaeology, Environmental, and Forestry Consulting, including ecology, geology, and related services.
Our objective is straightforward: preserve what makes great firms valuable, support their next stage of growth, and create a stronger, scaled platform in a fragmented and increasingly important sector. For our investors, our goal is to return an above average ROI while serving our communities and our country.
WHY ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Fragmented Market
Canada’s Heritage and Environmental Services landscape remains highly fragmented, with many specialized firms operating regionally or founder-led.
Generational Transition
Many owners are approaching succession decisions without an internal transition path or long-term capital partner.
Growing Importance
Demand for environmental expertise continues to rise alongside regulatory complexity, infrastructure investment, permitting needs, sustainability requirements, and resource development activity.
OUR AREAS OF FOCUS

Archaeology & Cultural Heritage
Regulatory support, field studies, Indigenous consultation support, and pre-development assessment work.

Environmental Consulting
Permitting, assessment, monitoring, compliance, and remediation and restoration services.

Forestry & Resource Management
Forest planning, stewardship, harvesting oversight, land management, and related technical services.

Biology & Ecology
Habitat assessment, environmental monitoring, fisheries, wildlife, vegetation, and ecosystem services.

Geology & Soil Sciences
Geotechnical, mining support, soils, land development, and related subsurface or site analysis capabilities.
FOR BUSINESS OWNERS
A successor, not just a buyer
For many owners, a transaction is not only about price. It is about protecting employees, preserving client relationships, maintaining reputation, and ensuring the business continues to grow after transition.
We understand! Carrie has been in your seat having bought and sold her own businesses, in navigating a big buy-out as an employee, and in helping business buyers and sellers every day in her Mergers & Acquisitions practice.
Grizzly is built for owners who want a thoughtful, professional, and confidential process. We are interested in partnering with firms that matter in their markets and deserve a long-term home.
